Getting Around
There will be several road closures, temporary no parking regulations and traffic detours the day of Night Market. Read below to learn more on what to expect and how best to get around Northern Liberties the day of Night Market.
No Parking
The following streets will have temporary no parking regulations for Night Market from 12pm (Noon) until 11pm on Thursday, May 26th, 2022. Any cars parked on these blocks during that time will be courtesy towed.
2nd St between Laurel St and Fairmount Ave
Laurel St between Front St and 2nd St*
*Laurel St will have temporary no parking regulations to accommodate a temporary traffic detour to Front St (more info below).
Alternative Parking
While street parking is available in the neighborhood, there are also two nearby surface parking lots operated by Target Park USA at Front & Poplar St and Front & Spring Garden St.
Rates for these surface lots are as follows and can be paid via the Target Park USA app (found on the App Store or Google Play):
$7 for 3 hours
$9 for 6 hours
$12 for 12 hours
$18 for 24 hours
Road Closures
The following streets will be closed to traffic between 12pm (Noon) and 11pm on Thursday, May 26th, 2022.
2nd St between Laurel St and Fairmount Ave
Poplar St from American St to 2nd St
Brown St from American St to 2nd St
In addition, westbound traffic via Laurel St from Germantown Ave and Front St will be blocked for a temporary traffic detour (see below).
Traffic Detour
Signs will be posted near 2nd & Girard the day of Night Market, warning drivers of street closure and advising local traffic only. Because of the hard street closure at 2nd & Laurel, any through traffic that continues down 2nd St will be detoured via Laurel St to Front St.
Because Laurel St regularly runs from east to west, traffic will be temporarily reversed the day of Night Market for this detour. Because of the temporary reversal, all parked cars on Laurel St will need to be relocated elsewhere.
